Throughout my poetry, fiction, literary essays, book reviews, criticism, and scholarly articles, a thread
connects each work to my personal vision and lifelong interest in nature, memory, family constellations,
liminality, loss, and social justice and feminism.
As a professor of modern and contemporary Comparative
Literature, Creative Writing, and Women’s and Gender Studies at Pace University New York since 1983, I
incorporate art, photography, and film in my literature and creative writing courses.
